| Whatever happened to the days when xanga meant something to me? Has it lost its function, had it been replaced? I haven't posted anything here since February, which seems terribly wrong to me. Perhaps it is time for the rebirth of my xanga. The need for reflection and introspection still exist, not to mention the need to relay sill stories. Like an old friend, xanga has no truly left me. We just haven't talked in awhile. But first, I've got a paper to finish. Expect something soon. | | |
| About 2 hours ago I got distracted from doing important reading for class tomorrow by things that while important, perhaps were not of as quite a high priority. So now I'm just getting around to doing it. Also, I've got "Urgent" by Foreigner stuck in my head and I can't seem to get it out. Please help. | | |
| Hockey via internet radio makes me happy. After a very long day, there's nothing like just sitting down and relaxing. I feel much better now. The past two Tuesdays have pushed the limits of my mental endurance. Too much class, thinking, and paying attention. So if it's Tuesday evening, don't ask me questions that require thinking or coherent answers, as they will not be forthcoming. Any other day inqueries requiring depth of thought are okay. I could really go for some cake right now... | | |
| So my class schedule has an upside and a downside. On the downside: two classes from 6:30 to 9:30, tuesday and wednesday. That pretty much means no Vespers for Devin this semester. On the upside: my other class is tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00, so every week I get to experience a 5 day weekend. Granted, I still have to do work and come to campus most of those days, but I figure it's all about attitude. Mmmmm, 5 day weekend. Also, I really wish it would thaw. Ice makes it take longer to walk places. Boo, ice. | | |
| Yay for Christmas. Amongst other things, I received some new pants which were very much needed. Now I don't have to worry about not having pants. Yesterday I went and ran around White Rock Lake. It was 9 1/3 miles of fun and exercise. That was my first time to run that trail, which turns out is a really nice trail. With that run, my marathon training official commenced. I've got 4 months to prepare myself for 26.2 miles. Should be enough time. On Christmas, I set a personal record for number of church services attended in one day of 3. That's a lot of times to go to church. At least I didn't have to go to all 5 services offered that day at our church. That would be a lot of church. | | |
